Ash piles can also rest on unplantable tiles, with the exception of water and lava, where Thrash Thrush would then be lost if they were to turn into one. Thrash Thrush is also a flying plant, so they can be planted on tiles which are not normally suitable for planting. The ash pile is also susceptible to being blown away by Blover and Fanilla, where the ashes will blind every zombie in the lane in front of the pile, but will also at the same time lose the plant. In this ash pile form, Thrash Thrush cannot be attacked by zombies (including vehicles), but Gargantuars may smash the pile, not only removing it but also spreading ash and blinding zombies in a 3×3 area. At this stage, Thrash Thrush will turn into a pile of ash for 10 seconds before it revives with a new tail that Thrash Thrush can use to attack zombies again. For every hit, Thrash Thrush will gradually lose the leaves on their tail, and, once it loses it all, Thrash Thrush’s tail will become worn out. Thrash Thrush is only able to attack zombies with its tail 25 times. The blinding effect is permanent, and zombies cannot be blinded twice (obviously). Thrash Thrush is the tenth plant obtained in Magma Marshlands in Plants vs. Thrash Thrush doesn’t really bother much about it though, she’s more interested in pondering about whether cheddar or mozzarella cheese tastes better. Thrash Thrush doesn’t know why, her parents don’t know why, everybody else doesn’t know why.
Thrash Thrush doesn’t actually intentionally disintegrate into ashes once she loses all her leaves on her tail, the disintegration just happens on its own without any apparent reason.
